Great West Institute
Great West Institute is a 501c3 nonprofit organization with the mission to empower grassroots leaders and the next generation. Brooke Williams
and I founded the organization as a vehicle for the Next Generation Project in 2008 and in response to Gus Speth’s idea that we need new organizations to try out new methods. Our focus is not upon a place or issue, but upon grassroots leaders with the creativity and motivation to make the world better. We create pilot projects in a collaborative process that involves local governments, academic institutions, businesses, philanthropists, and grassroots leaders.
I am particularly interested in ways that art can be used as an activist or educational tool for community-based and collaborative approaches.
